Background
A new unique Japanese Garden Themed Cafe has just opened, and I am tasked to design a flyer ad!
DESIGN
I chose a simple green theme colour as if to make the logo and fonts blend in with the image of the Japanese Garden, to give it a spiritual feeling to make the prospective customers feel relaxed and attracted to visiting it.
I placed the emphasis on "Dine by the Garden" with a white colour font to give prospective customers an idea of a relaxing outdoor dining experience and also the focus on the discount in the circle of the image to give them more reason to visit.

The challenge in designing a flyer is trying to make it different than online marketing as you want to create a different feel that online advertising and not make it seem like you simply print out your online ad on your website.
